The King’s College graduates and siblings, Brittany (2010 Graduate) and Jordan (2012 Graduate) Fenwick are making a mark with their musical talent. Recently the following article was written about them in the Weekend Courier (above photo also supplied by The Weekend Courier):
THERE have been some famous musical siblings – the Finn brothers from Crowded House and Split Enz, the Gallaghers from Oasis, Karen and Richard Carpenter and who could forget the brothers Gibb from the Bee Gees.
Rockingham’s own brother and sister act Brittany (19) and Jordan Fenwick (17) hope to become the next group to make their music mark.
The pair will hit the stage at the Rockingham Community Fair next weekend – supporting headliners Dragon and John Paul Young.
Brittany said the pair had decided to form a duo after playing together at home and finding they had a natural harmony.
“I’ve been playing for about four years and Jordan for about two and we just decided to start playing together this year,” she said.
Brittany said having her brother on stage eased the nerves of a live performance. “It is great we can just muck around with each other on stage and it really takes the nervousness out of it.”
Music has always been part of the siblings’ lives with Brittany saying their love of music sprouted in church. “Our sound is very acoustic with a little bit of everything mixed in.
“It would be nice to make a career out of it and it is something we are working towards.”
