The WACSSA Girls’ Netball Competition was held at the Ryan Owen Sports Centre Lesmurdie on the 26th of June 2015. It was a beautiful day full of sunshine and cool breezes to keep the girls refreshed and strong for the days competition. The King’s College sent four teams to represent the College in the age groups of Years 5/6, Years 7/8 (two teams) and Years 9/10. Some of the colleges that the girls competed against were as follows: Beechboro Baptist, Carey Baptist, South Coast Baptist and Kalamunda Christian.

Overall the college came second in their division. The girls had a great time and are looking forward to next year’s event. We would like to extend a big thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped out on the day. Their supporting words and technical advice really helped the girls succeed. By the last game the girls had developed technique skills and team skills to become worthy opponents to the opposing teams Next term, the college will once again be hosting Net Set Go Netball on Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30. New Netballers are welcome! Collect your form from the front office.
