Task 3A Experiences – Folio

Produce a body of work through experiences of visual perceptions in drawing, techniques and processes used by selected artists.

Task 6A Explorations – Folio

Produce a body of work through explorations of patterns in nature & in works

Term 2

Task 3B Experiences – Production

Production of a studio portrait pastel of the experience.

Art forms in this unit include: drawing and pastel.

Task 6B Explorations – Production

Production of a 3 dimensional mosaic artwork, developed through drawing & design + 11 Validation Test (During exam week)

Critical Analysis:

Response to, analysis and evaluation of artworks.

Task 1 Experiences

Use a critical analysis framework to discuss perception and drawings of artworks, relevant to the drawing experience and journey.

Case studies involving research and visual analysis focused on international arts practice.

Part A: Research a famous artist whose works are the source of inspiration for your studio pieces Create a power point presentation for the class according to the task guidelines.

Part B: Critically analyse two artworks by your selected artist.

Research a famous artist whose works are the source of inspiration for your studio piece. Create a series of sketches according to the task guidelines & investigate the meaning & purpose of the chosen artist.
