Primary School

The Formative Years – Yr1 to Yr6

Cooperation

With many foundational concepts firmly established in Kindy and Pre-Primary, these years in primary school allow for the introduction of more challenging learning tasks, both social and physical. As children gain more independence, they are taught to work co-operatively with each other. These important work skills are facilitated in all areas of the curriculum using a variety of activities.

Creative Processes

Pupils are challenged to think creatively, consider alternative ways of solving problems and to aim high in whatever they do. Individuals are encouraged to get involved in one of the many serving opportunities around the school and to become more aware of Gods’ plan for their life.

two-boysAcademic Achievement

An increasing emphasis on academic achievement is expected in the primary school and this is borne out by the calibre of our wonderful primary education team. Individual strengths in a wide variety of academic and extra curricula areas are nurtured and celebrated, ranging from art to music, science experiments to sporting carnivals. These years set the standard for successful secondary school involvement.
