Primary

In the formative years of Primary school at The King’s College, our experienced staff help your child explore and extend their God-given talents and abilities, introducing them to new concepts, skills, and interests, while nurturing a life long love for learning.

Our teachers provide high impact, evidence-based teaching using Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI). Students are supported and encouraged to develop skills of investigation and inquiry, enhance their creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Our positive and supportive environment provides opportunities for students to grow daily as confident and independent learners; spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, artistically and socially.

Specialist Subjects

Our Primary specialist areas include Music, Christian Education, French, Wellbeing, Library, Sport and Physical Education.

Co-Curricular

At The King’s College, the focus is not solely on academics, but also on developing all aspects of learning: intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and moral capabilities. The College offers a variety of clubs such as Minecraft, LEGO, song writing, gardending, homework and dance.

The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project has been implemented as a whole school program. The program aims to build resilience and sustainable wellbeing habits through programs and resources using evidence-based principles grounded in emotional literacy, focusing on gratitude, empathy and mindfulness.
